GoAbilene General Public Transportation

OCCK Transportation provides the general public, including passengers with disabilities and seniors, with transportation services within the city limits of Abilene. Riders will be picked up at their address and dropped off at their destination.

Service hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fares

Fares are $4.00 for a round trip or $2 one way. Ride coupons can be purchased in advance for $2.00 each. They are available from the Driver or from the OCCK Transportation office at 340 N. Santa Fe, Salina. Coupons can also be purchased in the Online Store.  Mobile Fare payments can be done using the Token Transit app.

Youth ages 7-18 can get themselves to the movies, park, pool, school, and more, safely and affordable with the Go Anywhere Summer Pass. It costs just $25 for unlimited rides on GoAbilene in June, July, and August. Read more here: GoAbilene Go Anywhere Summer Pass.

Free Rides

A partnership with Memorial Health Foundation provides passengers on GoAbilene with free rides to medical facilities, including but not limited to doctors’ offices, pharmacies, chiropractors, and dentists. Ask a dispatcher for more information.

GoAbilene also offers free fares to West’s Country Mart through a partnership with the West family. Ask a dispatcher or driver for more details or read the Blog Post.

Schedule a ride  

  • Call 785-826-1583 or 1-855-KSRIDES (1-855-577-4337) during business hours, or use the Online Scheduling Form.
  • Passengers are advised to reserve their ride by 4:00 pm on the business day before the needed ride.
  • Same day reservations are available on a space available basis; HOWEVER return trips may result in a longer wait.
  • Rides can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance.

Holidays

The following list of holidays is observed.  If the holiday falls on a Saturday, then we are closed on the previous Friday.  If the holiday falls on a Sunday, then we are closed the following Monday.
