Regional Mobility Manager Michelle Coats will host a special Mobility on the Move event during Kansas Mobility Week, November 1-7, 2026. The event invites community members to meet in downtown Salina and ride Salina CityGo together for one full round on the route.
Mobility on the Move: Ride Salina CityGo will take place on:
Date: Monday, November 2, 2026
Time: 8:45 a.m.
Location: 7th & Walnut
The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited to the first 10 participants. Advance registration is required at https://ksrides.org/mobility-on-the-move/
The ride is designed as an easy, no-pressure way for first-time riders to experience the bus system. Participants will have the chance to learn how CityGo works, see the route firsthand, and discover how accessible and convenient public transportation can be.
“Kansas Mobility Week is all about opening doors,” said Michelle Coats, Regional Mobility Manager. “Events like Mobility on the Move make it easy for people to see how public transit fits into everyday life – whether it’s getting to work, heading to school, or enjoying what communities have to offer..”
Kansas Mobility Week, now in its sixth year, is a statewide effort to celebrate and promote all the ways Kansans get around – whether by public transit, biking, walking, carpooling, or other means. The week emphasizes how transportation options build stronger, more connected communities for people of all ages and abilities.
