Lora Kirmer – Public Transportation for Salina and North Central Kansas

“How do I get to Menards/Salina Tech/Salina Rescue Mission if Purple does not go on Centennial anymore?” Transfer to Orange from Purple or Yellow at Dillons to get to Centennial. Orange turns immediately onto Magnolia and Centennial after leaving Dillons. If riding Red, transfer to the Orange bus at Walmart. “Does the Orange route go west on Schilling?” No, the Orange route will not go west on Schilling. It goes from Walmart, south to Lowe’s/Holiday Inn, north to Dillons, west to Centennial, south on Centennial, around Schwan’s, and east back to Walmart. “How long do I have to wait for the Orange to go around the full route?” The Orange Route is a 30-minute route - it will go to each stop two times an hour. “Why doesn’t it go further south?” This is the first step to expanding fixed-route services to the south corridor of Salina.
